Outside agencies should notify SJCPD when conducting law enforcement activity on college property.
The San Jacinto College Police Department (SJCPD) values strong, professional partnerships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. Effective communication and coordination among law enforcement partners help promote officer safety, community safety, operational awareness, and a unified response to incidents occurring on College property.
While SJCPD encourages all law enforcement agencies to coordinate and collaborate with the Department regarding law enforcement activity on San Jacinto College property, we recognize that circumstances may arise in which advance coordination is not always possible.
When an outside law enforcement agency is conducting activity on College property, SJCPD encourages timely communication and coordination whenever reasonably possible. This should include:
